Alan Lenoir Haynes was born December 21, 1962 in Dallas Texas to the union of Millard and Bertha Haynes. He attended DISD schools and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1981. He attended El Centro College and received an associate’s degree in business. He later decided to become a police officer and served with the Dallas Police Department for fourteen years.
Senior Corporal Alan Haynes loved being an officer and frequently trained new recruits. Besides being an officer, nothing brought him greater joy than being a father to his children Jairis, Sydney, Lawson, Miciah, and Kayla.
Senior Corporal Alan received Christ at an early age. He was preceded in death by his parents Millard and Bertha Haynes, and his brother Larry Millard Haynes.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Jairis, Sydney, Lawson, Miciah, and Kayla; One brother Kenneth Haynes (Sylvia). Three nieces: Kendrea, Brittney, and Tiffiney; One nephew: Rashard Garner. Great nieces and nephews: Mia, Nyla, Kiya, Alana, Jayren, T’riyah and Dejon; and a multitude of family and friends too vast to mention all by name.
He also leaves his Dallas Police Department partner Mia Alvarez.
