Alize Delois Woods-Curtis was born in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Bernice Ellis and Gainesville Woods. Who both preceded her in death. Afterwards she was raised by her grandmother Mary Ellis and Uncle Oscar Ellis (Bo-P) who also preceded her in death. Along with two sisters Vemice Ogletree and Mary Woods.
She attended and graduated from Lincoln High School of Dallas, TX. She later obtains a degree in Dentistry. She met and married James Curtis. To this union, two daughters were born.
Alize was employed by J. C.Penney’s Corporation for 21 years before retiring in 1992. She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Sharon Curtis and Karen Curtis of Dallas, TX; Three grand-children, Angel Curtis of New York City, Antonio Curtis and Antoinette Curtis of Dallas, TX; Nephew, Reginald Ogletree (Sandra and Taylor Winters), Niece: Felecia Ogletree great nephews: Reginald Ogletree Jr., Kelvin Ogletree, and great niece: Vertannia (Tan-tan) Ogletree all from Dallas, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
Special friends: Florean Tarver, Dorothy Gennings, Kathy Harrison, Karen Harrison, Annette Yarbrough, and Bridgette Monroe and Robbie Jones.
