Allie Lee Slider Morgan was born August 31, 1925 to Allie and Ophelia Slider in Dallas, Texas. She attended Dallas schools and accepted Christ at an early age.
On March 1, 1943, Allie married John Lewis Morgan. Allie and John had five children, all of whom were raised in the Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church family. The Morgan's were members of a camping club and spent many summers traveling around the country.
In addition to being an accomplished homemaker and mother, Allie was active in her local community and church organizations. Her hobbies included ceramics, macrame, and sewing.
After a lengthy illness, Allie passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John Lewis and John Lewis Morgan, Jr.
