Alvester M. Williams born June 18, 1926 in Groesbeck, TX to Ruben and Eliza Henderson. Mother A. Williams moved to Dallas, TX at a young age, where she attended DISD school. Left school at an early age to work and help raise her younger brothers and sisters. She professed her life to Christ at an early age. Mother A. Williams was an active member of World of Life Baptist Church, Pastor Vennie (Red) Logan, where she served diligently as the Pastor Aide looking forward to represent and stand for the pastor every 3rd Sunday until joining The Way of Life, where her nephew, Timothy Henderson was her pastor.

She leaves cherished memories: Husband, Willie Lee Williams; sister, Rosa Lee Henderson, both of Dallas; one son, Paul Williams (Judy) of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Thomas Eugene Crump, Jr., of Oakland, CA, Alvester Clay Crump (Gerald) of Oakland, CA, Felicia R. Crump-Galtney (Keith) of Dallas, TX; great grandchildren, Tamisha Shank, Gernae Clay, Tonnean Crump, Cember Crump, Thomas Crump , III, al of Oakland, CA, Lamar Brooks, Jr. of Dallas, TX; great great grandchildren David Hill, Tanya Hill, Shania Medrano of Oakland, CA, and a host or nieces and nephews.
