Andrew Johnie Foster

Mr. Andrew Johnnie Foster of Tatum, Texas was born June 07, 1930 to the parentage of Johnie Mae and Andrew Foster. AJ loved God and was a member of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas Texas. As a Patriot he proudly served his country in the United States Army. AJ was a handsome, well groomed, man that loved to have fun. He had a beautiful and humorous sprit always ready to tell you a joke or two. AJ never met a stranger and always eager to help everyone. He enjoyed gardening and playing golf. 

 Work was always a priority for AJ evident by his 40 year career working at a Dallas based meat packing company where he became a division manager. He continued to work, until his passing, as a much loved greeter at Super 1 Foods. 

 AJ was married to Margi Rae, whom preceded him in death, they enjoyed a beautiful family life along with their daughter, Margi Ruth. Andrew Johnie, then met and married on October 30, 2005 Mrs. Zella Mae Foster, according to AJ, “the love of his life”.

 He departed this life November 17, 2024, at the age of 94. 

 He was preceded in death by his first daughter and his parents.

 Cherishing his memories, his loving wife of 19 years, Zella Mae Foster; his daughter, Margi Ruth; 1 granddaughter, Misty Portley; 3 grandsons, Keron Johnson, Brandon Johnson, and Terrelle Campbell; his best friend/cousin , Annie Rae and a host of other relatives and friends.
