Annie (Lizzie) Green was born on May 27, 1935 to the late Pete and Annie Stubblefield in Grapeland, Texas. Lizzie transitioned from this life into the realm where God is eternal to sing with the Angels on October 10, 2012.
Lizzie attended Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church, Dallas, TX where she accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age.
Lizzie graduated from Henry High School in Elkhart, Texas were she was the point guard on the ladies basketball team.
Lizzie is preceded in death by her husband Voyd Green, Jr., son, Darrell and daughter, Janice, sisters, Sarah, Ezella, Queen, and brothers, Jack, Robert, Clarence, Charlie and loving daughter-in-law Debora Green.
On November 4, 1955, Lizzie was joined in Holy Matrimony to Voyd Green, Jr. and this union was blessed with six children.
Lizzie leaves precious, beautiful and fun-loving memories to be cherished by her three sons, Samuel, Reginald and Voyd Junior and daughter, Felecia, all of the Dallas, Texas area.
Grandchildren: Eric (Tanika), Shaqunta, Fabian Jr. (Kwamesha), Regina, Keenisha, Treyvon, Samantha and Alexia.
Great Grandchildren: Isiah and Kaleb.
Also cherishing her memory are two sisters, Corrie (Wade) and Elmarie, brother, Pete, sister in-laws Pearl, Barbara, Frankie Pearl, Elizabeth, Velzoria, Pearl, and Norma, brother ?in law, MC, her dear friend Willie Holmes of 56 years. A host of nieces, nephews, relative and friends will all share in her precious memories.
