Arthur Coleman was born May 6,1924 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended public school in the Louisiana Independent School District.
He professed his faith in Jesus as his Savior at an early age and was faithful member of Mt Horeb Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Doris Coleman, 1 sister; Mary Helen Lenard, two daughters, Linda Coleman and Helen Porter:
five sons, Arthur Coleman, JR., Frederick Coleman (Louise), James Coleman (Mender), Jerry Coleman and Larry Coleman who preceded him in death:
ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
