Aver Aaron

February 22, 1928 — January 8, 2014

January 9, 2014, the sweet spirit of our sister and mother, Aver Lee Aaron went to join the Savior in that home not built with hands On, but whose maker and builder is God.

To know her was to love her. None spoke of her but to praise her. Her pure kindness and love for people spread over her life and character and made her so charming that she drew friends from far and near. She was loved by all who came in direct contact with her. She was a pilar of strength to many and will be greatly missed.

Aver Lee Aaron was born February 22, 1928 in Homer, Louisiana to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom and Mandy Banks. She was married to the late Johnny Lee Aaron for 49 years. She was an active member of the Damascus Missionary Baptist Church where she served under the leadership of Bishop Masters until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish her memories to:

Six children - Jimmy, Mable, Willie, Gwen, Freddie, and Gloria.

19 Grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, four sisters Marguree Wyrick of California, Ulessie Landers of Ohio, Doris Dotley of Louisiana and Ella mae Williams of Atlanta; three brothers, Jessie Dell Banks, and Claudell Banks of Lousiana, and Tommy Banks of Arizona, and a host of great great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny, two sons Johnny Ray and james; and twin sisters Annie Ruth and Jessie Ruth Banks.
