Betty Faye Moats was born March 6, 1936 to the parentage of Henry and Clotile Gadson in Dallas, TX. She received her education from Lincoln High School.
Betty met and married Roal Moats and to this union 6 children were born; Samuel Moats, Barbara Moats-Jones, Carla Standmire, Regina Moats, Rolinda Moats-Jones, and Evelyn Moats.
Betty was employed as a Private Sitter and truly loved taking care of people. She retired after 50 years of service. She enjoyed playing the organ and piano as well as singing. She was very crafty and good with her hands. Betty loved to dance and have a good time. Her beutiful spirit will be truly missed.
She is preceded in death by both parents; daughter, Barbara Moats-Jones; brothers, Billy Gadson, Raymond Gadson, James Gadson, and Joe Gadson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Roal Moats; children, Samuel Moats, Carla Standmire, Regina Moats, Rolinda Moats-Jones, Evelyn Moats; sister, Irene Littleton and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
