Billy Tatum

Billy Gene Tatum Jr. was born on June 7th, 1954 to Billy Gene Tatum Sr. & Robbie Nell Tatum. Billy graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School in 1972 where he was a member of the marching band. After graduating, he went onto work for Texas Instruments & Air Liquide for 43 years as a Chemical Process & Distribution Specialist. Billy's relationships with his family & friends were unique. There were many good moments & many trying moments which test the character of a man. Billy's true character came to light when his wife Deloris became ill as he took care of her to the best of his ability while rarely taking any time off during that time until she was called home.

He's preceded in death by his parents Billy Gene Tatum Sr., Robbie Nell Tatum, Step-mother Maggie Tatum, Sister Devora Dickerson Mayfield, Daughter Sheronica Lynette Tatum, Wife Deloris Davis Tatum, Mother-in-law Mary Lee Richardson Davis, Brothers-in-law Otis & Ernest Davis.

His memory & legacy will be cherished by his Sons: Eric Tatum, Shaun(Ruby) Mitchell.  Daughter: Kelani Wicker. Sisters: Shelia & Casandra Tatum. Stepfather: Harvey Wilbourn. Sisters in law: Verdie Furguson & Argirine Howard. Brother in law: Curtis(LaWanda) Davis. Grandchildren: Kiara Mitchell Murry, Chistopher Mark King, Shaun DeVon Mitchell, Makiya Tatum & McKambrey Perkins. Nephews: Derrick Mayfield, Dexter Mayfield & Bryson Green. Niece Brionna Green & many more relatives & friends.
