On Monday, November 16, 2020, Bobbie Jean Hicks Moore peacefully transitioned into glory while surrounded by family.

Bobbie Jean Moore was born October 8, 1936 in Ft. Worth, Texas to the parents of the late Marshall and Rosina Thomas Hicks. She accepted Christ at an early age.

She met and married Delaware Moore Jr (Deceased) and to this union 5 children were raised. Bobbie Moore graduated from Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas. She worked for the Dallas Independent School District for 20 years. Bobbie Moore was the Co-Pastor with her husband Delaware Moore for 20 years and then Shepherded Trinity Valley Church of God in Christ for 10 years after he passed. She served faithfully as a District Missionary for Texas East Jurisdiction with East Garland and Spiritual Life Districts. Bobbie Moore was the Mother of the S.D. Lee District and Executive President of Hospitality for many years.

Bobbie Moore was preceded in death by her parents Rosina Thomas Hicks and Marshall Hicks; siblings Toby Hicks and Hester Glover; son Keith Moore; and grandson Thomas Tutt.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her children Marshall Moore (Connie), Coletha Hall (Reginald I.), Keith Moore/deceased (Debra), Karen Handy (Ricky), LaKenya Moore, and Delaware Moore, Jr.; her 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, The Trinity Valley Church of God in Christ Family, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
