Bobby Owens

Bobby L. Owens was born December 31, 1951 to
Melvin and Alice Owens. He departed this life
October 19, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. He was employed
until his illness. He was baptized under the leadership of
Rev. J. B. Burks of Shreveport, LA.

He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Owens,
Sr.; 1 son, Daundra Callicut and 1 brother, Rogers Owens;
1 nephew, Cedric Owens.

He was united in marriage to Frances Fuller of Dallas,
TX. To this union, two children were born: Karen Owens
and Bobby Owens, Jr.

Bobby Lee Owens is survived by his loving and devoted
mother, Alice Owens; 2 daughters, Karen Owens
(Derrick), Tonniyetta Callicutt (Ken); 2 sons, Brodrick
Young (Nicole) and Bobby Owens, Jr. (Neko); 4 brothers,
Melvin Owens, Jr. (Jenny), Robert Owens (LaJewell),
Charles Owens (Janice), Donald Fields; 3 sisters, Mary
Joiner (Luther), Diane Wilson (Connell), Deloise Owens
(Stan); 8 grandchildren, 1 great grand, 4 aunts, Ruby
Bolden, Atlean Snow (Sam) of Shreveport, LA, Helen
Baker of Los Angeles, CA, Gloria Freeman (Earnest) of
Dallas, TX; 1 uncle, Otis Harrison, Shreveport, LA; and
host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
