Carrie Griffin Robinson was born September 17, 1955 to her proud parents, William and Willie Mae Griffin in Lubbock Texas. The family moved to Red Oak, Texas later that year. Carrie attended Red Oak Independent School District, then went on to become a Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA).
Carrie loved to help and was always willing to give her last to any and every one. She was a loving mother to her three children, Tina, Reginald and Benard “Bubba” Johnson and a doting grandmother to her 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She always had at least 2 of them with her at all times. Carrie was a great cook and loved to cook and if you were ever looking for her, you could find her in her son’s kitchen. She accepted christ at an early age and faithfully attended North DeSoto Church of Christ.
Carrie was proceeded in death by her parents, William and Willie Mae Griffin; her son Reginald Johnson; and her brothers, William Griffin, Jr, JB Griffin, Eddie Lee Griffin and Don Earl Griffin. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Robert Robinson; her children Tina Johnson and Benard Hall, daughter in laws, Tina Clifton Hall, Christina Johnson and step-daughter Keisha Robinson. 5 sisters, 4 brothers and Aunt Lucille Adams all of Dallas Texas. Her twelve Grandchildren; LaKika Johnson, Jacobe Johnson (Tamia), D’Montre Johnson (Carlette), Detrik Johnson, Benjamin Teal, Iris Buchanan, Isaiah Hall, Jasmine Hall, Jaylon Hall, T’Asha Hall, Isaac Hall, Kamirra Hall and for 5 great-grandchildren. Also, her adopted children;Albert Odom(Cassandra), Troy P. Bacon Sr, (Ramona), Crystal Ingram (Kim), Willie Smith(Tanjie).
