Charles Curtis Lyons, born on July 3, 1955, to Reverend Curtis Howard and Beatrice Lyons, peacefully passed away. His parents preceded him in death, but their love and values remained with him throughout his life.
Charles grew up in Dallas, where he attended the Dallas Independent School District, and played football during his sophomore year. He was a dedicated fan of local sports teams, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, and had a lifelong love for WWF wrestling.
A lover of the outdoors, Charles could often be found taking peaceful walks and enjoying the simplicity of nature. He was a quiet, kind soul who fiercely protected and loved his family.
He is survived by his sister, Esque Lyons Walker; his brother, Clifford Lyons; nieces TaKeisha S. Walker, LaTonya Y. Walker, Desiree Lyons Hamilton; nephews Charles Curtis Brewster, Clifford Drew Lyons, Jeffrey Trent Lyons, Josiah Cyril Lyons, Jarius Lyons; and a host of family and loved ones.
Charles was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory cherished. Rest in peace, dear brother.
