Charlotte Romane Jackson was born October 31, 1961 to the union of Oscar Lee Byerly and Margaret Evelyn Nickleberry Byerly in Dallas, Texas. Charlotte received her formal education at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas. She received her Associates degree at El Centro college in Dallas, Texas. Charlotte had a lifetime love for singing Gospel Music. She was a member of the Jerusalem Angelic Choir; and was a member of numerous choirs in her lifetime.  She was the Choir Director for Bountiful Blessings Full Gospel Miniseries of Harker Heights, Texas.  Charlotte had the unique opportunity to sing for New Life Christian Center of Ansbach, Germany, which is part of the Ministry to the Military Association.

In Charlotte’s leisure time she enjoyed singing gospel music and studying the bible. Charlotte was a Blessing to many as she touched lives through her phone ministry.

Charlotte accepted Christ at an early age, she was a dedicated woman of God. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Charlotte departed this this life on August 16,2021 in Harker Heights, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Evelyn Nickleberry Byerly.

Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband: Charles Eugene Jackson, Jr.; her children: Kalan Johnson, Sr., Cristal Rena Johnson, Eric Johnson and Keenan L. McFarland; grandchildren: Tarancia Lewis, Kalan Johnson, Jr., Je’Naria Brunson, Ta'Niya Lewis, Keenan L. McFarland, Jr., Keyanna L. McFarland and Kaidence R. McFarland; siblings: Velma Denise Gray, Pamela E. Harrell (Sampson), Karen L. Bryerly, Shronda A. Bryerly, Oscar L. Bryerly, Jr.(Camille), Terrance B. Byerly, Elton Garrett, Eric Simon, Erica Minter and Mia Tell, a special nephew: Neiman Byerly and a special niece: Tamara Byerly. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
