Christopher D. Cooks was born to Cornelious and Flora Cooks on July 29, 1978. He gave his life to the Lord at an early age and received his foundation in The Way of The Cross Bible Church under the leadership of Robert L. Guy. He served as an usher, choir member, and President of the brotherhood. He served faithfully until his health declined.
Chris attended school in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Samuell High School. He was a dedicated employee at Jesse Bolin Motors for many years.
Christopher gained his wings on July 16, 2016. Those he leaves to cherish his memories are his mother, Flora Smith Cooks; father, Cornelious Cooks; brothers, Adrian Cooks and Rev. James (Vanessa) Wells; sister, Sherrie (Stacie) Cooks; niece, Jameisha Wells; nephew, James Wells, Jr.; great niece, Ja’miyah Wells; aunts, Imogene Cooks, Brenda Jefferson, and Johnnie Essix; uncles, Tommie Cooks, Jimmy Cooks, and Dwayne Fillio; and a host of cousins, family members and friends.
