Desmond D’Ante Smith graced this earth with his presence on August 25, 1999 to his parents Freddie Barnes and Alicia Smith in Monroe, Louisiana. His parents relocated to Dallas, Texas in 2001 were he attended school and graduated from Evolution Academy.

Des, as his loved ones called him, had his own swag and personality about himself. He had a love for music and gaming and could be seen often with his earbuds in listening to his beats. His grandfathers, Freddie Lee Benson, Freddie Lee Carter and Arthur Lee Smith went beforehand to prepare a place for him. Des leaves to cherish his loving memories his sweet 2 year-old daughter Kalani Michelle Bagley, his mother Alicia Michelle Smith, father Freddie Kendall Barnes; two brothers; DeMarico Smith and Sir’Quan Smith; three sisters; Dominique Mays, Ka’Shaka Thompson and Keonna Potter, maternal grandmother Anna Carter and paternal grandmother Sulor Barnes and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
