Diane Rackley

Diane (Thompson) Rhone Rackley was born on May 1, 1954 to Dorothy Mae Thompson and Joe McMillian in Ennis, Texas. She was loved and treasured by all who knew her; family, friends, and many many more!

Diane departed this life on Sunday, October 24th 2021 at home surrounded by her family in Dallas, TX at the age of 67.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Mae Thompson and her two sons Eddie Thompson and Nicholas Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Wife, Frances Rhone Rackley, Daughters, Deanna Crosby and Layla and Three Sons, Billy Thompson, Adrian Jackson, and Courtlin. Eight Grandchildren, Keanna Price, Anthony Price, Preanna Thompson, Breanna Jackson, Diamond Jackson, Quintin Thompson, Eddie Jackson, Alicia Thompson, and over a dozen Great Grandchildren.

God’s Garden

God looked around his garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place

Gods garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best
He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never get well on Earth again

He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb
He closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine”
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
