Donald Ray Andrews was born on October 25, 1959 in Athens, Texas to Johnnie Jones Andrews and Shirley Ann Andrews. He lived and attended schools in his hometown until his family relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1972 where he continued to live throughout his life. He held many jobs in his community but was longest and best known as a bus driver for Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) where he worked until he retired due to health conditions.
Donald was a family man and very giving to anyone in need. He always had a smile, joke and hearty laugh to offer everyone in his presence. He believed in the teachings of the Jehovah?s Witness faith, but was not baptized into the religion. He had begun to draw close in his relationship with God by attending a weekly Bible study until his death on February 3, 2013.
Donald is preceded in death by his father Johnnie Andrews and his son Lando Tasby. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Paula Andrews, mother Shirley Andrews, children Shameka Tasby, Sheya Sauels, JaMont Sauels, and his twins Stacy Null and Tracy Null all of Dallas, Texas. Four Brothers Kent Andrews, Mitchell Andrews, Mark Andrews, and Michael Andrews all of Dallas, Texas. Three sisters Sharon Washington, Vera Lois Andrews and Nedra Andrews all of Dallas, Texas. A host of Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends.
