Ms. Doris Annette Roberson was born on February 22, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, to parentage of Purvis and Katie Ruth Tatum. Doris attended B.F. Darrell Elementary, Spence Middle School, and graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1979. At an early age, Doris accepted Christ. She was baptized and joined New St. Paul Baptist Church.
After high school she was employed by SMU. Later in her career she was employed by Smith-Kline Beechum, and worked there until the end of her working ability.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell Wayne Tatum and Willie Earl Bell; one sister, Helen Ruth Tatum; mother, Katie Ruth Tatum; and father, Purvis Tatum.
Left to celebrate her memories are her two sons, LaDarrell Roberson (Staci) of Dallas, Texas, and Kalvin Roberson of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Katie Roberson of Dallas, Texas; special friend, Stanley Adams; grandchildren, Kyounte Miller, Keion McKnight, Keondre McKnight, LaDarrell Roberson Jr., Jaden Roberson, Laci-Paige Roberson, Madison Roberson, and Khylin Roberson, all of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Dianne Crawford (Danny), Debra Tatum, and Sherry Robertson; brothers, Purvis Tatum Jr. (Latonya) and Dwight Tatum; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
