Dorothy Garrett

Dorothy Pearl Garrett was born November 20, 1944, in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Bonner Garrett Jr. and Pearl Lee Garrett (who also preceded her in death). She professed a belief in Christ at an early age and was baptized at True Lee Missionary Baptist Church with her parents and siblings: Jayce Marie, Thelma & Velma (twins), Jimmy Smith, LA Smith, and Joe R. Garrett who preceded her in death.
During Dorothy's professional life she worked as a loyal government employee where she served for many years until she retired.
She leaves to cherish her memories, loving companion Mr. Tommie Norton and her loving daughters Dorothy Lenese and Gayla Renae Garrett; and a host of special nieces, nephews, and friends.
