Dorothy N. McDuff was born on December 4, 1931, to the parentage of
Daisy Mae and Alvin Casselberry in Caddo Mills, Texas.
She received her education in Caddo Mills, Texas, where she graduated high
school, received her diploma and went on to become a woman of many hats. She
was a registered nurse, barber, and many other things. She was a well known
volunteer in her community. She played a special role in every life she touched and
left a huge mark on everyone’s hearts.
She married Raymond McDuff on May 7, 1957, in Dallas, Texas, where
they resided until God called her home.
She is met beyond heaven’s gates by her mother, Daisy Mae Casselberry;
father, Alvin Casselberry, Sr.; sisters, Alma Joe Jackson, Erma Nell Darton and
Cleo Casselberry; brothers, Robert Lee Casselberry and Alvin Casselberry, Jr.;
and her daughter, Loretta Dixon.
Those remaining to cherish her loving memories include her husband, Raymond
McDuff; son, Jay Lee Jackson, Jr.; daughter, Bobbie S. Price; grandchildren,
Antoine Sr., Alynthia (Jon), Lester Price III (Chanda), Bobby (Cynthia), Victor
J. Hall and Dana Jackson; great-grandchildren, Alicia, Ashley, Aurielle, Antoine
Jr. and Adrian; great-great-grandchildren, Azarya, Makenzie, Alonni; sisters,
Gracie L. Brooks and Annie Sue Wesley; as well as a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
