Mrs. Ella Denise Calhoun- Nunley, ?Aunt Cora Lee?, was born November 15, 1949 to the parents of Mrs. Airtoria Calhoun-Lockhart and Mr. John Rowl., De Soto Parish Grand Cane, Louisiana. Mrs. Nunley was later united in holy matrimony to Mr. Harold Nunley, Sr. to this lovely union God blessed them with 2 beautiful children; Airtoria ?Shuntae? Nunley and Harold ?Bootsy? Nunley, Jr.
Mrs. Nunley was a loving and devoted family maker. She was born in Marshall, Texas and grew up in Dallas, Texas under modest education at Dallas Independent School District. ?Aunt Cora Lee? was known for her smile and many stories of fun and family. She loved to surround herself with her sisters and brothers and many friends and extended family. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age.
Mrs. Nunley was preceded in death by her mother, Airtoria Lockhart, father, John Rowl, step-father, Henry Wright Lockhart, Sr. and her son, Harold ?Bootsy? Nunley, Jr. She left a legacy of love and life to the following members of her heritage: 1 surviving daughter, Airtoria ?Shuntae? Nunley; 6 grand children, Ke?Airria Nunley, Phantasia Johnson, JaKhiya Nunley, Brandon Johnson, KaLisha Hall, and KeZiah Wilcots; 3 surviving sisters and one brother, Mrs. Hattie M. Lockhart-Howard, Ms. Jackie L. Lockhart (Willie), and Mrs. Cathy L. Lockhart-Davis, Mr. Henry Wright Lockhart, Jr (Delphine), all of Dallas, Texas; 7 nieces and nephews, Nicole D. Lockhart (Demarcus), Latasha Howard, Deliria ?Sean? Lockhart (Charlene), Gerrod Rashad ?Bad Rod? Lockhart, Aaron Allen Davis, Sr, Anthony Henry Dobbs and host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
