Elnora Walton was born to the parentage of George Page and LueDellia Dawson on May 3, 1935 in Palestine, Texas. She was affectionately call by a few names, such as "Big Momma", "Nora" and "Sister Walton" by her grandchildren, family members and a host of friends in her lifetime. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife (Eddie Walton-Deceased) and friend to a host of individuals who were close to her like fleshy family.
Elnora was kind, loving and had a spunky personality. She enjoyed many things such as traveling, playing cards and sewing. Most importantly though, she enjoyed being a full time Christian pioneer minister sharing the Bible's hope for the future with all whom she met, including her family members, neighbors, co-workers and all she would meet going house to house preaching and teaching God's Word. In her later years, she found every opportunity to find people, even doing informal preaching at places of buisness where she was well known by the store owners and customers in the community. Her love, laughter, smile and words of wisdom will be forever missed but duly cherished by all who had the pleasure to meet her.
She is survived by her sister, Alice Tucker; brother, Arthur Page; son, Everett McDade (Karen); daughter, Sylvia McDade; 5 cherished grandchildren, Adonte Phinisee, Jarrod McDade, Ebony Roberts, Quentin Phinisee and Justin McDade; 9 great grandchildren, Da'jah Phinisee, Jhailynn Phinisee, Kirstyne Phinisee, Kennedy Roberts, Xavier Nelson, Tania Phinisee, Quinnaya Phinisee, Ja'quan Phinisee and Quinnetra Phinisee.
