Fannie Mae King was born May 5, 1924 to the parentage of Eddie Bradley and Emma Bell James in Tatum, Texas.

Fannie received her education at Tatum High School in Tatum, Texas.

Fannie loved the Lord and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Fredrick Norris. She served faithfully as a Sunday school teacher.
She was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Flordale James, Marvin James; Daughter, Jane Haygood.

Fannie leaves to cherish her memory, grandchildren, Ruthie Davis, Willie Simmons, Nellie Simmons, Teresa Hartfield, Raymond Simmons, John Earl Simmons, all of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Annie Mae James, San Francisco, CA; Mossell Battle, Dallas, TX; Ida B. Taylor, Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Rev. Henry James, Dallas, TX. and a host of other relatives and friends.
