Fannie Bell London was born November 23, 1934 in Mansfield, Louisiana to the late Miss Tessie B. London.
After accepting Christ in her life, she became a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Mansfield, LA. Fannie relocated to Shreveport in the late 50's where she united with the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. H.S. James. Then in 2010, she relocated to Plano, TX were she was a member of Rhema Life Fellowship Church under Pastor James Thomas.
Fannie was known for her acts of love, kindness and service to others. She worked for many years for the Louisiana Association for the blind as a Quality Control Inspector, were she helped many disabled people. Fannie enjoyed her mission sister visiting the nursing home were she would bake and serve her famous "Pound Cake". She was a faithful Sunday School attendant were she was the class secretary for the Ephesians Adult Class. She served as a Deaconess for several years before relocating to Plano, TX.
On February 13, 2020 she was called to rest.
Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Fannie leaves to celebrate her life, daughter, Sylvia London-Griffin (devoted family friend, Richard Moore), grandson, Joshua Griffin. Stepdaughter, Betty Ann Davis (John Davis), stepson, Richard Deason Jr., stepson-in-law Calvin Brooks Sr., (late Yvonne Brooks, step daughter). Step-granddaughters, Katrina Schufford (Sylvester), Hilary Bradford, step-grandson: Calvin Brooks Jr., God-sisters: Patsy Stephen, Lotis Francis, Pearly Prelow, Nancy Smith. God-daughters: Debbie, Koko, Jackie, Myeisha, Vickie, Charlett, Tryela, LaShenda, Nella, Kendra. God-sons: Bobby, Lamar, David, John, Cary, Jarome.
