Fannie Washington

February 17, 1939 — April 19, 2012

Mrs. Fannie Deloise Sanders-Washington was the daughter of Henry L. Sanders and Elmyria Sanders. She was the ninth child of thirteen children. Fannie was born in Longview, TX on February 17, 1939. She attended B. T. Washington in Forney, Texas. She joined Little Flock Baptist in Forney, Texas under Rev. H. L. Brown.



She is survived by her husband, Andrew Smith, Dallas, Texas; five daughters and one son, Mary (Finest) Brooks, Tyler, Texas, Margie Nell (Travis) Richards, Dallas, TX, Evelyn (Willie) Mills, Dallas, Texas, Wanda (Joshua) Ambers, Dallas, Texas, Robert (Gloria), Dallas, Texas, Jeanetta (Anthony), Mesquite, Texas. She also leaves behind four siblings, Annie Pearl Jones, Los Angeles, CA, Ella Rea Johnson, Dallas, TX, Doris Caldwell, Tyler, TX, Henry L. Sanders, Whitehouse, TX; seventeen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren are also left to carry on her legacy. Near to Fannie's heart were the following people: Shirley Harris, Barbara Washington, C.J. Sanders, Antoinette Sanders, and Madeleine McNeil.



Visitation: Friday, April 27, 2012 from 9-6pm at Lincoln Funeral Home.
