Felecia Green

October 5, 1963 — September 30, 2017

Felecia “Lisa” Green was born October 5, 1963 in Dallas, TX to her parents Voyd and Annie Green. Lisa was the oldest daughter of six children. She graduated from School of Business & Management in 1982. Felecia worked at United Healthcare for over 20 years.
Lisa was the proud mother of Eric, Fabian and Treyvon Green. Her sons were her pride and joy. Whether it was an accomplishment in school, on the football field or any milestone, Lisa thrived on their success. If they sent her flowers or bought her a present, she was sure to let everyone know that it came from her boys.
Lisa was also the proud grandmother of Kaleb and Camille Green. She loved spoiling and spending time with her babies. Her grandkids were her heart and soul.
Family was very important to Lisa. She wanted to extend the love that she had for her family to others. She opened her home up and became a foster parent to many children over the years.
Anyone who knew Lisa knows she was a football fan who loved to shop and spend time with her family. She found joy in planning family gatherings and vacations, especially our annual Christmas sleepover. She was the matriarch of the family who always extended unconditional love, support and guidance.
Lisa was known for her upbeat personality, no-nonsense attitude and her love of Hip-Hop. You could regularly find her rapping to Jay Z, Tupac or 50 Cent. She was always the life of the party and the heartbeat of the family.
Lisa departed this life September 30, 2017. She was preceded by her mother, Annie; father, Voyd; brother, Darryll; and sister, Janice.
Felecia is survived by her children and their families, Eric (Tanika), Fabian (Kwamesha), Treyvon. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kaleb, Camille and Addilyn. Her siblings, Samuel (Tina), Voyd Jr., and Reginald. Her children in love Aaron, Lewis, Alisa and Grace and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
