Floyd Dyas

Floyd Dyas was born in Clarence, Louisiana on April 29, 1937 to Moses Dyas and Inez Edwards who preceded him in death. He attended school in Clarence, Louisiana. While living in Houston he worked at the Lincoln Drive Inn.

In 1958, Floyd married Billie Mae Anderson and through that union two children were born, Trina Renaye Dyas and Floyd Lorenzo Dyas. They later divorced and he married Jessie Jones. Through this union, Marc Dyas was born. Both wives preceded him in death. Floyd was a devoted husband and father, loyal friend and fun loving man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Floyd leaves a daughter, Trina Dyas-Johnson (Olton); sons, Floyd L. Dyas, Marc D. Dyas; 4 stepchildren, Luther Jones, Jr. (prededed in death), Charise Blair, Jarvis Jones, Juan Jones (Sharon); grandchildren, Nieshia Dyas-Jones (Isaiah), Detrick Dyas (Keithra), Deunca Dyas, Marc Dyas, Jr.; 10 step-grandchildren; great grandchildren, Izavion Jones, Ian Jones, Ajah Dyas, Zuari Dyas; 2 step-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
