Frances Cox McDade was born in Martindale, Texas to the parents of Thomas and Ophelia Cox. She attended school in Martindale, Texas
In 1932, the family moved to Dallas, Texas. Frances joined Golden Gate Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C. B. T. Smith. Later, she joined Greater Golden Gate Baptist Church under the leadrship of Rev. Fabian Jacko.
She retired from the D.I.S.D. School District.
She enjoyed church, quilting and baseball.
Frances departed this life July 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by: her husband; 4 daughters; 4 sons.
She leaves to cherish her memories, 3 daughters, Ethel Dixon, Margie Williams, Vennie
Wilson; one son, Claude McDade all of Dallas, TX; 46 grandchildren; 85 great grandchildren; 102 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
