Frank Banks was born April 8, 1952 to the parentage of Marie Banks and the late Clarence Banks Sr. Frank transitioned on May 2, 2021 at his home in Dallas.
Frank received his education in Ferriday, Louisiana before moving to Dallas, Texas in 1970. He went on to join the U.S. Navy after high school. Frank became a phenomenal truck driver of 20+ years after retiring from the U.S. Navy. Frank was quite comical, if you wanted a good laugh you could expect for him to imitate almost anyone. Frank accepted Christ at a later age and sought a church to call home.
Frank was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Melanie Banks, dad, Clarence Banks Sr, and oldest sister, Erma Banks-Hornbuckle.
Frank leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Marie Banks, a daughter, Monnique Banks; sons, Kenard Banks & Patrick Dukes; his companion, Gerrie Henry (“ReeRee” as he called her); brothers, Clarence Banks Jr., Larry Banks, John Banks, Lionel Banks, Earl Banks (Marcheller); sisters, Sherry Banks, Deloris Banks, Brenda Banks; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
