Fred Paul Pipkins was born to the parents of Giles and Eva Joyce Pipkins on July 9, 1914 one of nine children. He grew up and got his education in Panola County. He later moved to Terrell, Texas where he met and married Miss Lucille mcCellan on December 25, 1938. To that union, one child was born, Bennie Mae Pipkins.
In 1943, he moved his family to Dallas, Texas and joined the Navy and serve in World War II and received an honorable discharge December 29, 1945.
In 1973, his wife and daughter preceded him in death.
On June 8, 1979, he married Mrs. Katie Jones and she also preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn some special nephews and nieces, James Thomas (Shirley), Bertha Rowlett, Erma Hooks, Maudie L. (Charles), Eva Joyce (Charles), Patricia (Jerry), Harvey (Gussie), Spencer (Claudia), David Lynn (Cherrie) Pipkins; five generations of nephews and nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends, also his church family.
