Freddie Taylor

January 7, 1933 — July 30, 2015

Freddie Mae Taylor was born in Madisonville, Texas on January 7, 1933, to the late Willie Collins and Lucille Bartely.

Freddie graduated as valedictorian from her high school, where she was also a star player on the basketball team. She went on to attend Paul Quinn College. She later left college to marry the love of her life, John Edward Taylor.

She loved the lord, and was a faithful servant. As a member of the Lamb of God Baptist Church she served with a smile on the Usher Board. She was a wonderful Bible school teacher. She served the Lord with unending gladness.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her son, Bobby Earl Taylor; daughters, Shirley Wright (Bradford), Patricia Bethany (Allan), Vanessa Mullen (Aaron) and Therisa Blue (Bernard Herod); grandchildren, Tara, Damon, Shannon, Candra, Taylor, Tedrick, Consuela, Stephan, Andrian and Auturo Taylor, Kiesha and Terrail Bethany, Jim, Megan, Peter, Marian, Caitlin Rain; Julie Williams, and Erica Barnes; and a host of grand-nieces, nephews and friends.
