Fredrick "Freddie" Brooks was born April 17,1952 in Dallas, TX to the late Emelda Ryan and Fred Brooks.
Freddie was the oldest child with a younger brother Eddie Brooks. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1970 and attended Texas Tech University. In 1983, his first child was born, daughter Ashley and three years later a son, Kevin. He was a longtime loved employee of UPS for more than 35 years and retired in 2015. Freddie was an avid sports fan and spent much of his retirement attending movies and spending time with his grandchildren, Savannah and Elijah, whom he loved dearly.
Freddie leaves to cherish his memory, Ashley Hill and her husband Ryan; son, Kevin; brother Eddie and his wife Nedra; granddaughter, Savannah; grandson, Elijah; niece, Edrian; and a host of loving family and friends.
Freddie’s love and kindness will forever live in our hearts.
