Glenda attended Booker T. Washington Technical High School where she excelled as a student and also participated on the drill team. In October 2016, Glenda began her fight with cancer. With the support of Texas Oncology and Kindred Hospice, Glenda was given more time to spend with her family and loved ones. During her fight, mom received loving support from faithful members and ministries of Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. To God be the Glory for all the prayers, well wishes, visits, kindness, friendship and love received.
On February 28, 2018 Glenda was called home. She was preceded in death by her parents Patricia Lee Crawford and Elijah Lucas Crawford. After the untimely passing of her mother at the age of 10 years old, Gladys Ruth Bryant (Mommie Ruth) raised her into a strong young woman.
