Harvey Hearne

Harvey Hearne was born on October 8, 1933 to Dave and Arear Hearne in Mooringsport, Louisiana where he received education and met the love of his life, Dorothy Jean Mason. On December 11, 1954, the young couple united in marriage and moved their small family to Dallas, Texas. In just a short time, Harvey found his longtime career in Plumbing. He established a professional and private clientele who respected his strong work ethic, knowledge and kind heart.
In 1976, Harvey and Dorothy’s slightly larger family moved to Italy, TX to serve at Coming of Christ Full Gospel Church. Harvey gave his life to Christ at an early age and was faithful to God, ministry and his family. By 1977, Harvey was the devoted father to 12 children. He was loyal in his home, church ministry and career. Eventually life brought Harvey and family back to Dallas where he worshipped at Hosanna Full Gospel Church. In 1995 Harvey made the decision to retire from Saffell Plumbing Company after over 20 years of excellent service.
Harvey spent 50 wonderful years with his bride until her passing in 2004.
Harvey is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hearne, daughters Diane Williams and Brenda F. Hearne, and son Cordell Hearne. His parents, Dave and Arear Hearne, siblings, Charlie Hearne, Nazarene Peterson, and Vazarene Monroe, and Minnie Buckner.
He leaves to cherish his memory and further his legacy: Children, Linda Wright (Louis), Gerry Hearne, Sr. (Shanta), Early R. Hearne, Roy Hearne (Denise), Harvey S. Hearne (Tonya), Terry Hearne, Sr., Timothy Hearne, Sr., (Vanessa), and Shalanda Hearne. Siblings: Lillie Mae Buckner, John L Hearne, Wilson Hearne and Coleman Hearne. Over 30 Grandchildren, 50+ Great Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, others relatives and friends.
