Harvey Mayfield

Harvey Lane Mayfield was born March 3, 1959 to the
parentage of Willie and Maggie Mayfield. He was educated in
the Mineola Public School District and graduated from Mineola
High School with honors. Harvey attended Tyler Junior College
and the University of Texas at Tyler. He graduated from the
University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration
degree. Harvey was employed at Hemispheres Furniture
store in Lewisville, Texas for over 12 years. Harvey resided in
Dallas, Texas for over twenty-five years and attended St. Luke
Community United Methodist Church. He remained a bachelor
until his death on June 15, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alfreda
Mayfield Johnson (Claude).

He leaves to cherish his memory: four sisters, Erma Nelson
of Quitman, Texas, Yolauda Mayfield of Dallas, Texas, Glenda
Mayfield of Tyler, Texas, and Winifred Mayfield of Mineola,
Texas; four brothers, Willie A. Mayfield (Mamie) of Tyler, Texas,
Thomas E. Mayfield (Millie), Dorian L. Mayfield of Dallas,
Texas, Roger D. Mayfield (Cynthia) of Chandler, Texas; and a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
