Ms. Helen G. Butler was born to the parentage of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Butler of Smith County, Tyler, Texas. Ms. Butler was a prominent educator in the Dallas School District. She taught at Booker T. Washington for over 20 years and retired from North Dallas High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Queenie Earls and Mrs. Inez Brigham; 7 nieces; 5 great nieces; 3 nephews; 5 great nephews and a host of friends and former students.
