She lived in Dallas with her family which included 4 sisters Artie Edwards, Odessa Carter, Anna Lee Holland, and Bernice Jones, 4 brothers Lamar Jefferson, Robert Jefferson, George Jefferson and Foreman Jefferson(all of which preceded her in death)
Ms. Jefferson was a entrepreneur cooking and baking in the Dallas area for many years. Her loves were listening to her blues records, beating everyone on the domino table, and spending time with her family and love ones. All that knew her loved her quick wit and firecracker personality and, she was given the nickname "HELL CAT"
She leave to cherish her memory a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
