Mrs. Helen Raye Landers was born on April 25, 1944 to Ms. Rozell King and Carmen Johnson. She grew up in Greenville, Texas, where she attended and graduated from Greenville High School.
Mrs. Landers married her husband, James Young Landers. on February 3, 1967. They enjoyed over 35 years of happiness, travel and each other until Mr. Landers passing in 2005.
Mrs. Landers is also preceded in death by her mother, Rozell Armstrong; father, Carmen Johnson; daughter, Denise Kind; and brother, Tony King.
Remaining to cherish her loving memories are her sisters, Louise Oliver, Rose Mary Bunkley, Eva Jean King, Althea Bell, Tonette King Iva Rachel Henderson, Lynda Allen and Gail Taylor; brother, Graylane "Bubba" King; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
