Henry Earl Blanton, born on May 29, 1982, in Houston, Texas, to Henry and Margie Blanton, passed away on February 11, 2025. He was 42 years old.
Henry was born in Houston to Henry Offord and Margie Blanton. Henry grew up in Dallas where he played football in high school, a sport he loved dearly. After graduating, he went on to become a dedicated truck driver, working hard to provide for his family. His passion for his work was only matched by his love for his family, especially his wife, Funtaion Thomas. Henry and Funtaion shared a deep, enduring love, and she adored everything about him—from his captivating smile and soulful eyes to his strength, masculinity, and his tireless drive to support his loved ones.
Henry was known for his giving heart, always ready to help others. He was a rock for Funtaion and for everyone lucky enough to know him. His joyful spirit and infectious laughter brightened the lives of those around him. His love for life and his constant smile were a testament to his positive outlook.
Henry's legacy of kindness, humor, and strength will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Funtaion, son Ladarian Thomas, and a host of family, friends, and all who loved him.
A funeral service will be held in his honor at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at The Well, Pinehurst Ln, Mesquite, TX 75150. Burial will follow at Lincoln Cemetery, 8100 Fireside Drive, Dallas, Texas 75217.
