Horace B. Lang, the 3rd child of the late Willie William Lang and Vester Sanders-Lang was born in Waco, TX on April 19, 1924.
Horace Lang began his Christian journey after constructing Sanctuary of Liberty Church in Dallas and continued his service were he also constructed from the ground up, Mission Tabernacle House of Prayer where he was the faithful and supportive co-pastor to his spouse Remanther Lang for many years.
He started his career driving trucks for Ruberoid Roofing Co., whose name was later changed to GAF Corporation. Horace served proudly on the Union Board and was there for over 50 years until retiring.
Before retiring Horace loved to travel and became a licensed plumber, also a fantastic car mechanic.
Horace was preceded in death by parents, Willie and Vester Lang; brothers, Holbert Lang and Verdee Lang; sister, Margie Nell Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 72 years, Remanther Odessa Lang; daughters, Odessa Bush, Jacquelyn Lang Powell (Landis), and Senetra Lang Mitchell; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; brothers, Willie David Lang and William Ray Lang; sisters, Pearlie B. Evans and Agnes Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
