Hosea Dywane Wiggins was born on March 4, 1975 to Hosie and Alma J. Wiggins in Dallas, Texas. He was their only child. Hosea was baptized as a child into the Church of Christ on Buckingham Rd. in Garland, Texas.
Hosea played football for Austin Academy in Garland, TX. He also attended Garland High School where he played the bass in the orchestra and excelled in his classes, he graduated in 1993. Later, he decided to return to school, and received his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in 2014. Hosea started working at The Richards Group in 2001, where he was currently employed until his passing.
Among his many delights was his passion for cooking, in particular Bar-Be-Que. He would always come up with a new recipe for his ribs and brisket in which he was always proud of. He enjoyed contributing his time and talents and helping wherever he could such as assisting with cooking BBQ for the church picnic and Vacation Bible School at the Light of the World Church of Christ.
He had a natural talent for being a handy man. He knew how to fix mostly anything, from household appliances and computers, to cars and trucks. If he didn’t know how to fix something, he would figure it out. He was a man of many talents.
In 1999, Hosea met Audria Lewis where they remained friends until they decided to start dating in 2001. They were married on December 6, 2008 and have three beautiful daughters, Ericka LaJours, Eleyna Corinne and Ava Nicole. Hosea adored his girls and was an excellent father and a loving husband. He was more than a hard worker and he would do anything for his family.
Hosea is preceded in death by his father, Hosie Wiggins, and his grandmother whom he loved dearly, Vera Ellen Moore.
Those left to cherish precious memories include his loving and devoted wife, Audria Lewis-Wiggins of 6 years, his three daughters, Ericka, Eleyna and Ava, his mother and stepfather, Dale and Alma Edwards of Garland, Texas. His father and mother-in-law, Donald and Carolyn Lewis of Dallas, TX, grandfather, Herbert Moore, his half siblings Undre Brown (Dallas, TX), LaToshia Anderson (Dallas, TX), Olinka Kinchion (Shreveport, LA), Jamark Hunter (Shreveport, LA), his brother-in-law Broderick Lewis (Dallas, TX) and a host of other relatives and his best friend, James Williams.
