Howard William Craddock was born August 11, 1930 to the parents of Robert and Minnie F. Craddock in Pittsburg, Texas. After graduating high school, Howard attended Jarvis Christian College where he met his wife of 54 years, Ora Lee Williams.
Howard was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean War, 1950-53. After his military service he returned to Jarvis Christian College to receive his bachelor?s degree in Physical Education.
Howard settled in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Ora Lee and their four children. He remained in Dallas until his death.
Howard worked for the U.S. Post Office and eventually retired from his L&A Janitorial and Maintenance contracting business. Howard was an avid golfer, fisherman and jazz enthusiast. He shared his love of life with everyone he knew including his family and close friends.
Howard departed this life May 17th 2014. His surviving family include: 4 children; Vaughn, Lynne, Aprile (Akilah Issa), and Howard Jr. Grandchildren include: Kimberly, Omar, Aisha, Evelyn, LeAndrea, Jahmi, Ayana, Jabari, Nneka and Zakiyyah and a host of great grand children, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
