Isaiah Rhodes was born in Mexia, Texas to the parents of David and Lena Rhodes on March 4, 1925.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He received his formal education with the Limestone County School District.
Isaiah later moved to Oakland, California in 1950 where he met and married his wife, Annie V. Rhodes in 1964.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie V. Rhodes; 5 brothers; 4 sisters.
Isaiah leaves to cherish his memory: son, Willard Rhodes; daughter in law, Angela Rhodes; nieces, Mary Ruth Warren, Doris Woodson, Joyce Ervin and Lois Ingram; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; caretaker/friend, Darryle Evans and a host of other relatives and friends,
