James Jefferson

James Russell Jefferson was born on March 30,1981 to the Late James Russel Kelley and Regina Lajuan Jefferson in Texarkana, Texas. James transitioned this world on November 3, 2021. HE was preceeded in death by his Grandparents Howard Jefferson, and Verine Ellis . Mr. Jefferson gave his life to Christ at an early age and re-dedicated once again at the Free Church of God in Christ In Jesus Name. He attended both the Texarkana, Texas, and Dallas, Texas School Districts.

Mr. James Jefferson was a vibrant soul who was often found smiling with a big full grin, ever ready to sing and dance. He truly loved his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was courteous and complimentary to all. James truly enjoyed cutting hair and was a very neat and tidy man.He was a beautiful soul on Earth with the heart and spirit of a child. He started his spiritual journey by asking questions and seeking understanding and could often be found reading the bible and other spiritual books in search of knowledge. He was quick to say,” I am sorry, I was wrong “and full of forgiveness. Although challenging trouble often found its way onto his path, he was ever striving to rise above looking for victory by faith.

He never failed to confess a belief and trust in his Heavenly Father. We, his host of family and friends will forever cherish the love and memories of the many good times shared. Most of all we will remember his never-changing innocent expression maintained throughout his life and his willingness to show love and generosity. We rest in the confidence that our Father in Heaven knows those who are his own. May our loved one rest in heavenly peace until our day of resurrection and arise victoriously!
