James Shaw

James Shaw was born January 02, 1943 in Hallsville, TX to the parentage of Crushean Shaw and Rissie Mae Norris. He attended the Hallsville Independent School District. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Galilee Baptist Church faithfully until he moved to Dallas. He joined with Avenue Progressive Baptist Church where he met and married the love of his life, Bessie Ann Shaw and a precious son, Larry White.
He joined with Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in 1992 under the leadership of Rev Robert E Murphy where he was a dedicated and faithful member. He served as a Deacon and President of Senior Usher Board until he became ill.
He worked for Woody?s Corny Dog, Kroger?s Warehouse, and retired after 24 years from Romco Equipment Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife Bessie Shaw, one son Larry White, 4 sisters: Elzalia Walker, Charlene (Bob) Gibson, Elizabeth (Willie) Walker, and Willie Mae Graham, 2 Brothers Eddie Johnson & Crushean Shaw; 2 grandchildren Melanie White & Darian Rogers; 2 aunts, 2 very special godsons, DJ and JJ and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
