Jesse Lee Simmons was born to the parentage of Othello Simmons and Mary I. Simmons in Angus Texas on July 7, 1929. Both parents, 5 siblings & one daughter, Anjaynette Simmons preceded him in death. Jesse Lee professed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined Hamilton Park Baptist Church under Dr. Gregory Foster.
He is survived by his wife Mary Alice Simmons; his sister Lila Faye Price; His children Sharon Stanfield, Vance Simmons, Jason Simmons, Patricia Manning, & Jesse Lee Simmons Jr.; A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
