Jewel L. Huey was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, niece, and friend to many. She was born December 17, 1955 in Texarkana, Tx. She grew up in DeKalb, Tx. Her mother was Isadora "Tiny" Gooden. She is proceeded in death her Mother Isadora Gooden, two siblings, Lenard Wayne Gooden and Luther Dean Betts. Jewel has one son Oliver "Demond" Gooden (Pamela) and five step kids. She has five grand children Rodne, Cheyenne, Breana, Ivana, Rashaun. she has five siblings Audrey, Randy, Annette, Amp, Edward. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Jewel attended school in DeKalb. In 1972 she moved to McKinney, Tx. She later moved to Dallas, Tx
In 1984 she meet and married her husband Daniel Huey. Jewel enjoyed helping people. She worked as a CNA that was her passion. Jewel like to travel the country roads with her husband Daniel. They would fish, talk, laugh and enjoy the peace of nature. She loved spending time with family, that's what was the most important to her. She enjoyed to read a good book, go shopping and cleaning her house. She and Daniel volunteered for meals on wheels, making sure people got food even in the snow. When no one else was helping, They were out getting it done. Jewel was over all a Great Lady, she will be Dearly missed by many. she was a bright lite where ever she went. The life of the party.
