Joffrion Wright was born June 29, 1923 in Milford, Texas to the parents of Napoleon Harry Wright and Neonetta Clemons. At an early age, Joffrion accepted Christ at the Pilgrim Rest Methodist Church in Milford, Texas. He received his education from Kelly Miller High School in Milford. Upon graduation, Joffrion attended Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma and graduated in Tailoring.
Joffrion joined the United States Army from the years 1944-1946. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 1966 where he found employment at Churchhillway Presbyterian Church and where he also retired after a loyal 20 some odd years.
Preceding him in death are: parents, two sisters, Louise Simpson, and Helen Hill.
Joffrion leaves to cherish his memory: a faithful and loving wife of 51 yrears, Dorothy Jean Wright; one daughter, Sabrina Jean Dawson (Rodney); two grandchildren, Rodney Edward Dawson, II and Brianna Jovahn Dawson; two nieces, Myrtle Wright, Dallas, TX and Linda Diggs, Corpus Christi, TX; one nephew, Anthony Hill, Corpus Christi, TX and a host of relatives and friends.
